NS Speed Surf is considered one of the smallest Internet web browsers: its size is just 313 KB. Its small size makes it a good alternative to Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, and others. The browser contains one simple window, which enables an easy navigation of web pages, offering several buttons, such as "next", "previous", "first", "last", etc. In addition, the browser displays a progress bar while loading any web page. The status bar of the browser displays the current link location, system time and the program's name and version.
The program features a primitive favorite function that doesn't support creating bookmark categories, but it has a handy button that can add the currently viewed page directory to the favorites list. The history function is also poor and consists of one window that only lists the recently visited web pages without mentioning the date or any other details. The integrated search toolbar is powered by Yahoo! It enables you to directly search for text, images, video, audio, news, etc. from within the browser.
